School of Ministry
At the beginning of 2006, the Lord spoke to me to go
beyond just going and ministering some place for a short while
and then leaving, but to stay long enough in an area to accomplish
a work that will continue on even after I have left. I held
this in my heart for a number of months until the fullness
of what He was communicating to me has come forth. We are
establishing schools around the United States where we will
be training believers in the body of Christ to do the work
of the ministry.
Ephesians 4:11 tells that Jesus gave to the church apostles,
prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers and that one
of the purposes of the five fold ministry mentioned in verse
12 is to equip the body of Christ to do the work of the ministry.
In the "School of Ministry" you
will be equipped to see people saved, healed, delivered, baptized
in the Holy Spirit, set free from bondages and flowing in
the gifts. These are all areas that must be developed for
a believer to be able to do the work for the ministry.
Over the years I have helped prepare students with a calling
to ministry, teaching and training them to do the work of
the ministry. Most schools only teach students knowledge but
never involve discipleship. As a teacher I have discovered
that anytime a believe receives understanding in their heart
from God’s Word, that God is now able to touch other
peoples lives by the Spirit God through this prepared vessel.
Many times I have personally seen students come back excited
at what God is now doing through them. God has to work in
us before He can work through us. This is
why in the School of Ministry we have a three part focus.
Three Parts of the School of Ministry
The first part is where the students will
receive teaching of the subject. This is all that is normally
received from most Bible schools.
The second part involves training. The student
will be trained how to minister the subject, much like an
apprentice relationship, where the student receives personal
assistance. This is the discipleship relationship much like
Jesus had with his disciples. They were not just given knowledge
through teaching but discipled by Jesus.
The third part is the practical application
of the subject where actual ministry will take place. What
the student has been taught and trained to do they will accomplish
while ministering with the teacher in actual ministry. This
is an important area as it enables the student to minister
with a dependency on the Holy Spirit but still have evaluation
and critiquing from the teacher. Proverbs 27:17 says “iron
sharpens iron” or as another translation you use steel
to sharpen steel. Having a teacher who is very proficient
at what he does is very beneficial for you.
School of Ministry Vision:
To equip believers to do the work of the ministry.
Ephesians 4:11-12
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some,
evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting
of the saints, for the work of the ministry,
for the edifying of the body of Christ.
Local School
The first school is currently scheduled to be held in the
Fall of 2007. For those of you who are interested in having
a school in your area, please contact
us for more information.
Financial Cost
Since the school materials, teachers and schedule of classes
is still under development we are not able as yet to provide
specific tuition expenses. However, the School of Ministry
will be easily affordable to everyone because of the concept
of bringing the school to the students instead of the students
having to leave their job and home to move in order to attend
school. There are significantly lower overhead expenses in
bringing the teachers to the students and we are able to pass
these savings on to the students. As soon as the development
phase is complete, a School Catalog will be made available
and will be furnished upon request.
School Catalog
The School of Ministry catalog is currently under development.
Upon completion, it will be made available to anyone desiring
information about the School of Ministry. Within the catalog
will be a list of the classes, instructors, a schedule of
classes, an application for admission as well as financial
information. You will also receive information on the one
year certificate and being certified as a minister through
the School of Ministry. If you are interested in receiving
information on this upcoming School of Ministry, please contact
us.
